Bienvenidos. My name is Señora Jacqueline Henley. I am very excited to be your child’s Spanish teacher this year. I graduated with a BA in Communication at the University of the Philippines and received a Minor in Spanish. This is my 12th year as a Spanish teacher. I hope to make your child learn and appreciate the Spanish language and culture in a fun way.

Learning a second language is beneficial in today’s diverse world. It is my goal to provide a dynamic classroom environment while engaging students in communicative language activities. My vision is simple: if I cannot take my class to a Spanish country then I will bring these countries into my classroom, exposing the students to the language, culture and way of life.

I am looking forward to working closely with students and parents. I believe that a good parent-teacher relationship is vital in a child’s success.

I am a proud Military wife and Mother and have been a resident of Autauga County since 2010.
